Not dark Yet

What does Bob Dylan's song “Not Dark Yet” have to do with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports modernization and with PITSS GmbH / PITSS America LLC [solutions?

Nothi](https://www.linkedin.com/company/pitss-america-llc/)ng, really, and yet this song has become finely intertwined with this technical topic for me. When I hear it, I think of Forms, the replacement of these systems, the PITSS method, and PITSS.CON software, which automates these modernizations and migrations to the maximum extent possible—crazy, isn't it?
When I work on the topic of modernization, I hum the song to myself.
Some might say it's my age or perhaps something subconscious?

The chorus goes like this:
“It's not dark yet, but it's getting there.”

It fits with autumn, it fits with dusk, and it fits with a technology that has had its day and is slowly being replaced.

It's not completely dark yet, it's not too late, but you should get moving, you don't have much time left.

Somehow fitting for the phenomenal but outdated Oracle Forms and Reports technology. Don't you think?
